Standard thermal analysis of iron solidification in stable Fe-C and meta-stable Fe-Fe3C state – cup with or without Tellurium, evaluation of all the important temperature points of the curves and basic parameters calculated by them as CEL, %C, %Si, R, VPS.

Unique solution of fta analysis

• System of a.k.a. variance from eutectic point + / -. For each CEL is given accurate distance from eutectic point – hypo- / hyper-eutectic iron.
• Unified scale for CEL when crossing eutectic point, the single eutectic point.
• Analysis recognizes a difference between austenitic and graphitic liquidus, therefore can safely evaluate hypo- / hyper-eutectic.
• Faster analysis of a cup without Tellurium meant for maesurement by a furnace achieves the same speed as in case of a cup with Tellurium – as fast as by 1.5 min. An advantage is price of the cup and returns without Tellurium achieves the same time of analysis with both with Tellurium and without Tellurium cups – max 1.5 min. The benefit is lower price and returns without Tellurium.
• Warning when low inoculation level. Adjustable to each alloy.
• Sophisticated system of errors and warnings indispensable for production control guaranteeing absolute plant reliability of determination. System can recognize confusion of cups with and without Tellurium, low sampling temperature and more critical parameters.

TECHNICAL SOLUTION OF FTA

• Control unit as an industrial PC or portable version - tablet
• Up to 6 measuring channels / stands for thermal analysis for each control unit
• Wireless solution of the channels
• Channels are equiped by pilot lights and may be equipped by a large display consequently to show CEL directly in the area of the channel is placed.
• Curves of cooling and their evaluation may be watched directly on screen of the apparatus in real time or may be shown in a viewer that is a part of delivery.
• Data is stored to the measuring unit. It may be sent to SQL database of the customer. Remote loading of the data to a computer. Manual transfer of the data by USB flash drive.
• Final data can be clearly viewed on a PC with the application FTAviewer – curves, data export to Excel.
